Our commitment
OLHYN wants this website to be usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. Accessibility is part of the way the website is designed, not something added afterwards.
This page describes transparently what we actually do and the limitations we know of. It is a voluntary approach: it is not a declaration of conformity with any national or European accessibility framework (see Compliance status below).
Measures in place on this website
Semantic structure: navigation and main content areas identified, a consistent heading hierarchy.
Keyboard navigation: a skip link to the main content at the top of the page, interactive elements reachable by keyboard, and a visible focus indicator.
Declared language: the language of these pages (English) is declared for assistive technologies, as is French on the French pages.
ARIA attributes: accessible labels on buttons and icons, and purely decorative elements hidden from screen readers.
Reduced motion: animations are reduced or disabled when your system asks for less motion (the prefers-reduced-motion setting).
Contrast and readability: we aim for sufficient contrast between text and background and readable font sizes.
Text alternatives: images that carry information have a text alternative; decorative images are ignored by screen readers.
Responsive layout: the layout adapts to different screen sizes and remains usable when zoomed.
Automated checks: we regularly measure the Google Lighthouse accessibility score of the website's pages. This tool only covers part of the WCAG criteria and does not replace real testing with a keyboard or a screen reader (see Known limitations).
Known limitations
In all honesty, some limitations remain:
Third-party modules, such as the booking calendar, are integrated into the website; their accessibility depends partly on their publishers.
Booking a call requires JavaScript.
This website has not been fully audited against the WCAG by an independent body. Despite our care, occasional non-conformities may remain.
A high Lighthouse score covers technical criteria that can be automated (structure, contrast, ARIA attributes): on its own, it does not guarantee a fully accessible experience in every real situation.
Compliance status
This statement is a voluntary transparency measure. In the absence of a full audit, this website is not declared compliant with the WCAG, with the French accessibility framework (RGAA) or with any other accessibility standard. We apply the good practices described above and keep improving the website.
